As a family-run brand, we bring our passion, expertise, and love for the outdoors to every product we create. From design to testing, we carefully craft and refine each piece to ensure it’s ready for any adventure.

Born from a passion, tested in the elements

Chay and Danielle, both born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, are lifelong outdoor junkies who live and breathe extreme sports. From snowboarding in deep pow to chasing miles on mountain bikes, their lifestyle fuels every stitch of every design. Danielle brings our bold, one-of-a-kind artwork to life with her graphic design background. Chay drives the passion that grows the race team and pushes every product to its limits—testing gear in the wild, on the trails, in the mountains, and everywhere in between to ensure it performs when it counts. Every piece is tested through multiple seasons in the elements, guaranteeing durability, comfort, and style that can keep up with any adventure. Together, they brainstorm as a creative force to create the unforgettable one-of-a-kind products they have on the market today.

Before launching Sendhuro, Chay and Danielle noticed a gap—there weren’t many fun, diverse mountain bike jerseys that matched their loud, retro, dynamic style. The few that existed were custom kits on pro riders, completely out of reach or more moto-specific. Determined to change that, they created Sendhuro, with the intention of extending to an entire line of products with their favorite sports in mind. Debuting their first products—the AirFlow Jersey and the Shakka Mitten—which went through three seasons of rigorous testing before ever hitting the market. Sendhuro is still currently expanding and testing products that will launch soon!

Today, Chay and Danielle envision Sendhuro as a brand for the new generation of riders, adventurers, and thrill-seekers everywhere, delivering gear built to push limits and make a statement. Because when you ride with Sendhuro, you don’t just show up—you show out.

History of the SHAKA MITTEN™

Chay had a vision: a mitten that lets you throw a shaka mid-ride without sacrificing performance. So instead of splitting the trigger finger like everyone else, he separated the pinky—keeping the comfort and control of a mitt, with the freedom to spread some stoke on the go.

The bold look and branding behind the Shaka Mitten™ come from Danielle, Sendhuro’s in-house graphic designer. She's the creative force behind everything visual—from the logo to the product graphics—bringing the personality and purpose of the brand to life in every detail.

After three full seasons of testing, refining, and dialing in every detail, the Shaka Mitten™ is finally here. Built tough, designed smart, and made to keep up no matter how hard you ride.
